This is all I've been listening to lately. They fascinate me and completely stimulate my imagination. On top of that the renditions are so relaxing I think I've unknowingly crapped my pants a few times I've been in such a deep state. Anyway, if I can make any recommendations, I give the following cd's:

1) String Quartet Tribute to Radiohead (release in July)
2) Strung Out On OK Computer: String Quartet Tribute to Radiohead
2) String Quartet Tribute to Bob Dylan
3) The String Quartet Tribute to Tool - Third Eye Open
4) String Quartet Tribute to Coldplay
5) String Quartet Tribute to System of a Down

These are all kickass, especially if you already know the songs. I didn't know I had such refined tastes.

My friend has the Tool one, it is good except they use the violin to represent the lyrics and in some songs like Aenima it gets annoying.

I have the String Quartet Tribute To Tool (entitled "Third Eye Open") and no surprise, it is fuckin' amazing. Worth hearing is the Sober, Pushit, and Hush.
