Ooh. Ooh. I can't help but let my guard down a little. Sounds like not only are they going with the original Transformers, but it's also not just a cheap cashing-in attempt. But there's plenty of room for it to suck. Like if they redesign the characters. Fuck no, I want them to look at the original cartoons and just turn them 3D, nothing more.

Wishlist:
-Getting as much of the original voice cast together for this.
-Stunticons. Combaticons. Constructicons. Bumblebee, Jazz, Soundwave. Starscreeeaaam. And the best possible restoration of Optimus and Megatron.
-No Rodimus Prime/Hotrod, Galvatron and Ultra Magnus (the post-Optimus series).
-Preferably no CGI people and environments - putting the guys in real-life recorded places and explosions.

Ah, I'm greedy. But we'll see.

What I would be concerned about would be the Megatron and Soundwave size ratio... I never really cared about it before, because it was a cartoon and all, but when they transform, they not only turn into a luger and radio respectively, but they also shrink. I'd be afraid that the movie would go the redesign route with those two, which would suck. Otherwise, I think it at least has the chance to be really cool.

There is no way this can't suck :(

The more I think about it, the more I worry. But at the very least we'll get the original series out on DVD faster to cash in on the movie.

The best way to do this would be t make it aimed at adult audiences rather than the kids - seeing as it has a very large adult fanbase. Much more scope for intricate storylines rather than the black and white good vs evil that a kid's mind can only handle.

And it would have to be set in 1984. >:

There's no way that it won't suck.

I haven't been able to trust Hasbro lately, so this will ultimately blow hard.

Weird Al needs to be on the soundtrack again, that's all I have to say about it right now.

Don't be suprised to see Disturbed and P.O.D. on the soundtrack, dawg.
