Yeah, heard about this a while ago.

I'd love to see a Simpsons game that WASN'T a shitty ripoff of another, more profitable game.

Simpsons Arcade: TMNT
Simpsons Wrestling: Smackdown
Simpsons Road Rage: Crazy Taxi
Simpsons Skateboarding: Tony Hawk
Simpsons Hit & Run: Grand Theft Auto

Here's a list of future Simpsons games (I imagine):

Simpsons Springfield Shindig: Mario Party ripoff
Simpsons Feet Frenzy: DDR ripoff
Simpsons - Quest for the Holy Squishee: Generic RPG ripoff
Simpsons Puzzle Party: Generic puzzle game ripoff
Simpsons Simpsons: Simpsons ripoff

I was :) all the way to puzzle.

Simpsons Arcade: TMNT

They came out at the exact same time I think. They are both made by the same company, Konami. Konami ran out of ideas for a game.

Simeson's Bowling was their own game.

Remember for the genesis and snes, Barts Nightmare and Virtual Bart. Those games rocked :(

Bart's Nightmare sucked.

Virtual Bart was cool, though...but was way too hard. :(

I don't remember ever being able to BEAT any of those Simpsons games, save for the one on Game Boy.

Bart vs The World was just downright horrible. There was a certain point in which you simply could not clear the jump.

Hate Simpsons games. :(

James, that was in the Great Wall Of China skateboarding level, wasn't it? :(

Fuck you, bart's nightmare kicked ass. It was worthy of the simpsons license.

I own virtual springfield...but I've had it for fucking years and it was like 15$ at the time, so whatever >:

Whats that game where you played as Bart and it had a bunch of mini games? I remember one of them being Bart as a pig trying to escape some kind of sausage factory.

Simpsons Roadrage is one of the worst car games ever.

Virtual Bart. But at first I was gonna say Bart Vs. The World...it, too, was like that. Virtual Bart also had the gayest mini-game ever. Fucking water slide. >:

Bart's Nightmare was a stinking piece of shit. >:

All the NES Simpsons games were atrocities. >:

Virtual Springfield was garbage. >:

I liked Simpson's Road Rage though. :(

NES Simpsons games were awful. Horrible graphics, horrible controls, horrible games. Ew!

There was another genesis game called Bart vs. the aliens. Or something like that. I hated this game like a fat kid hates sit ups.
You died from the nerd kid in class. I can't remember his name right now. But that's not the point. This is the worst simpsons game I have ever played.

Simpsons games are awful. The best one was Krusty's Super Fun house for Genesis, and that still was cunting shit. >:

The Simpsons Cartoon Studio sucked too. You were only allowed ten props in the cartoon you were to make, out of the 800 you could have. My cartoons never came out right. It just wasn't worth it.

And Virtual Springfield was fun for about 20 minutes. Once you've seen all of Springfield, it's a boring shithole of a town that you never want to visit again. >:

*shudders*

I'd rather have an abortion with a rusty hatchet than even think of any of those games.

I actually bought a Simpsons game for the NES when it came out. I think I was called Bart vs. The Space Mutants? You had to go around and spray paint purple stuff orange. My uncle got it for me and gave me a giant promotional cardboard standup of Bart.

Did you EVER beat it? If so, I demand proof that it's possible.

Seriously, to this day, I have NO idea how the fuck you're supposed to beat the Bartzilla levels.

Did Bart's Nightmare have a level at the start of the game where you're walking around in the street and sometimes a fairy will come up and kiss you and turn you into a frog? I think my friend had that game, and for some reason, I remember it being fun :(

HickMan

Yes I remember that in Bart's nightmare your grandma was an old black lady that kissed you or something. The best part were the Bart Man levels. :(

You must have been delerious. This is the game where you'd get a B+ and have your family hate you forever >:

I remember that. It showed your whole family standing in front of a fridge with an angry face.

And right before you'd hear bart go "Uh-Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" and it would eb all like "DADADADADABABABABA" and they'd be so mad to some cheesy drum loop.

It's still stuck in my nightmares.

PS as for that jump you couldn't make in B vs TSM it was in a greensh-blue cave level with the hulk hogan heads (who can forget those!?)

Seriously, to this day, I have NO idea how the fuck you're supposed to beat the Bartzilla levels.

Bartzilla levels were easy. You walk around taking out helicopters and things at first and then when the thing shrinks you, you just climb to the top of the building and zap homer. 2 pages right there. If I had my old save states where I was missing like one paper, I'd take a screenshot of it beaten. Bart vs the Space Mutants was the one that was impossible to beat.

Anyway, I get the feeling a lot of you are just jumping on the bandwagon and probably haven't even played some of these games. Bart's nightmare was certainly a different game, but it was fun.

no, no, Zomboid is right. i guess it just takes a TRUE gamer to really appreciate the value of the Simpsons games. granted, the games on the later consoles sucked, but I have only fond memories of Bart vs. the Space Mutants, Bart Meets Radioactive Man, and Bart's Nightmare.

Oh shit I forgot about the Simpson's Arcade game. It was the shiz-nitch!

And the level I fucking hated in Bart's Nightmare was the Indian Jones rip-off thing with the falling blocks. I fucking hated that so much. I think it was the only one I never got past. >:

HickMan
Jun 14th, 2003, 11:30 AM
Yeah I remember that level too. It was the worst part of the game and there were so many things to look out for in that level, dinosaurs, arrows, a cave man, blocks that would fall when you step on it, eggs, and so on. The Simpsons Arcade game was the best Simpsons game ever. And it'll stay that way. But the game really was great. I want it on the gba and hook it up to do 4 player. That would rock.
