To define Extreme Metal, I mean Black Metal, Death Metal, and Grindcore.

And I pray that you don't think Slipknot is any one of those. Because let me tell you something: SLIPKNOT IS UTTER AND COMPLETE NU-METAL CRAP!!!

Why in gods name do you call these types of metal Extreme Metal. Anything with the word "extreme" in front of it is stupid ie. Extreme sports.

I listen to a lot of grindcore and thrash like godflesh, napalm death, cianide, etc. I just don't see what's the point of calling yourself a metalhead. don't you listen to any other kind of music or do you listen to just metal?
