Harry Potter & Ace Ventura: The Daily Mail has indicated that young actor Daniel Radcliffe is not going to star in any more of the Harry Potter movies, citing desire to return to school and finish off his studies. Warners has apparently been holding "informal casting sessions for some time" for his replacement whom will takeover when the fourth film goes into production. Whilst he will be replaced, one character who can't be divided from its actor is that of Ace Ventura - whilst promoting Bruce Almighty in the UK, Jim Carrey let slip on the BBC's "Jonathan Ross" show that there had been attempts over the last few years to bring Ace Ventura back to the big screen, but he confirmed that there wasn't a story that really interested him. Furthermore, he said he wanted to leave that character in the past and move onto newer projects - alrighty then.

Why don't they use the guy from dumb and dumberer to replace Jim Carrey? :rolleyes

On the other hand, I think it's best for Radcliffe to quit the movie biz and focus on getting an education because he isn't that much of an actor. His parents probably told him that he sucks and the hopes of becoming a mega movie star in the future doesn't look too bright for him.

Yes, Jim Carrey leaves behind a character he's done in the past and never revisits said character again.:rolleyes

It probably would've been weird to hear Harry's voice alternate between squeaky and deep in the next movie anyway.

There are two things that negate what you just said, Geggy.

1. He'll always be remembered as Harry Potter, therefore someone will hire him based on that.

2. Freddie Prinze, Jr. The worst actor ever, yet based on his looks and nepotism, he still manages to have a career.
