Because, I try to tell them that they are just the Blink 182 of Scream Emo and they are like "OMG NO THEY ARE THE HARDCORE-EST". But I am not educated well enough to get my point across. So, help :( How? Uhh, I don't know. Fuckers

I tried to explain to them how they don't write thier own stuff, how thier guitars are over-compressed and thier drums are tiny, how the vocals are over produced and to high in the mix, how they are just ripping off bands like Glassjaw, how they're just a coperate boy band targeted towards the gothy, punk angst-ridden wannabe teenager.

"No they arn't, dude!"

If I could pick my friends, I'd atleast pick friends that have some musical taste :(

the used? hardcore? how about: fuck no. if you wanna hear hardcore listen to fucking converge and dillinger escape plan. that's fucking hardcore. if you wanna wake up your friends to the hardcore "scene," then you should play some fucking the mullet burden by dillinger escape plan.

If you want to hear hardcore, check out Black Flag or Minor Threat. That's hardcore. Dillinger Escape Plan is cool, but pretty much only because they had Mike Patton on that one EP.

I take it you don't like Cannibal Corpse? Anyway, they whup the pants off Dillinger Escape Plan.

PSST: If you like Dillinger Escape Plan, listen to Ion Dissonance. They are about 10 times better.
