No, they didn't. And yes, they do. That doesn't mean you can say anything about them. They had one, very capable drummer in their debut. As far as death metal drummers go, he's pretty cool. What you're thinking is the two percussionists they employ. And to say they're 'drummers' is silly. Bill Bruford worked with percussionist Jamie Muir in King Crimson circa Larks Tongues In Aspic, but he didn't replace him, nor did his sound overplay his skill. They're different things.

As you can see, I'm not too up on Slipknot. All I know is that they suck and have more than 1 person playing drums. Whether it is percussion or not, it's still pathetic.

I think a few of them actually have talent, but the singer just plain sucks. And there is only about 2 with actual talent, and thats the drummer and the bass player. But in a whole, they suck :(

Slipknot don't suck. They're bunch of wusses in comparsions to, not most, but all death metal bands. They're considered as radio friendly, for chrissake.

Like I said, I'm not up on Slipknot. Sorry if I don't follow shitty bands. From your post you said the drumming was good. I just mentioned the fact that they have more drummers (percussion). Helm already explained the situation. Fuck off, I have no reason to fight over something as horrible as Slipknot.

Slipknot has three percussionists: one drummer, two metal kegs if I recall correctly. The drummer is overrated, IMO.

I hate slipknot. I can't appreciate the music beyond the screaming some people call "singing". If some people can get beyond that than ok, but most people that like them is because theyre the new popular rock thing. Im a fan of acdc and black sabbath mostly. Oh yeah and they look real stupid in their masks.
