yes preemptive mocking. I am tired of seeing band threads pop up months after i hear about them so i am gonna start beating everyone to the punch since that is my real life job at the radio.

Thier singer's voice has a calming effect on me. And I am a very jittery, nervous person. I love the pit-pat drums and other misc odd noises in thier songs, they remind of Aphex Twin. And I like Aphex Twin.

I love aphex twin, and i think the music by postal service is pretty good too, but i can't stand the guys voice. He sings it just like he sings for emo trash deathcab. I wish he at least tried to sing differently instead of doing deathcab with electronics. Have you heard Royksopp or Pinback or simian?

I like the guy's voice. And I can't stand deathcab. But I looove The Postal Service.

And no I havn't heard any of those bands but I am soulseeking them right now :(

I put more thought into it and you should LOVE erlend oye, and maybe prefuse 73, schneider TM, or Kings of convenience. But definitely check out oye.

no, but a terrible singer keeps them from being any good. I'd like it if the singing was mixed down and the voice was just a bit less emo.
