Obviously you were trying to equate the tyranny of pre-revolution America with current conditions and say there is no difference now, due to our 'oppressive' administration. . .But its a poor point as the conditions which existed then are not similar to the exploitations which exist currently.

Your main flaw in posting is underestimating the intellegence of your general mocker. They got your 'point' but dismissed it, as anyone who knows this nation's history would rightly have done.

The idea was that I would ask you "independence from what?" and you would name various witty and hilarious things that we have gotten independence from, eg. underwear, men with mustaches, mexicans, etc.
