What does everyone thing about this?

I'm expecting it might be funny. It's written by three members of The State, who are also in the show. And there's also a guy who's a voice actor that has done quite a few things, including the voice of Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life.

It looks like a rip off of the movie Super Troopers, unless it is the same people. :/

They should bring Rocko back. :(

Good thing you quoted that entire post, lest we get confused and not know which thread you are replying to.

I hope this is good. HOPE. Viva Vairiety was okay, but it wasn't exactly a masterpeice either.

I much prefer the Black-Showalter-Wain team of Stella over the Lennon-Kenney-(whoever) team.

I hope it's good to. The really long commercial they had for it made it seem funny, so it had better be or I may have to be sad at Comedy Central from now on. :(

It would be nice to have a funny new show on Comedy Central, especially with members from The State... guess we'll have to wait and see how it goes.

I have high hopes for my low expectations.

I really hope the Stella guys make a cameo appearance somewhere in there. and by Stella guys I mean the characters.

Enis gets arrested for indecent exposure because he's dancing with his fake penis hanging out. ;(

this wasn't as bad as I was expecting. the mime part should have been longer though.

It wasn't as hilarious as I thought it was going to be. But I do think the future episodes will be. After all, they had to spend a lot of time establishing the characters for the first episode.

I missed it, but knowing Comedy Central, it will be on another 20 times before next Wednesday.

Even if it's somewhat good Comedy Central will cancel it.

I thout it was hilarious, as good as Chappelle's Show.

It wasn't the funniest thing in the world, but it was worth watching. Seeing how the first episode was mainly laying out the character background, the next one might have more humor to it. :/

I'm really enjoying this show so far. It's done better than I thought it would be and some of the humor is just perfect. Hopefully they'll have enough time to let the show grow into something really awesome. But knowing Comedy Central, they'll just cancel it.

It's actually quite impressive. The acting is great, and that pretty much makes the whole show. If the acting was sub-par, I probably wouldn't like it half as much.

And has Deputy Junior even been on screen for more than 30 seconds in the last two episodes?

Very good show. Given time, it could become an excellent show.

Yep, and it even had Bobo the mime (from The State sketch) make an appearance. :)

Man, the show just keeps on getting better. The new episode tonight was awesome... and did anybody notice "Big Mike"? It was fucking TOBY HUSS! :love :love :love

Haha, yes! I couldn't place the name, but I recognized him. :love

The show is just plain hilarious. I let out many a laugh tonight, simply because of the physical acting (and non-acting).

Double the points if they're Jewish. :lol

I agree, tonight's episode was hilarious. And the "next week" clips looked awesome, but they are showing the episodes out of order so wh knows when we'll see it :(

James
Aug 7th, 2003, 04:45 AM
Are you sure they're showing them out of order? I always figured the "next week" parts were never intended to be part of any future episodes.

Its fantastic. I'd say its the best new show CC has made in a long while. I hope this one doesn't go the way of the UCB and SWC.

I wish I were in a Neilson family. :(
