Yeah, they're a really good band. I first heard about them when the first Mortal Kombat movie came out and my friend bought the soundtrack. :(

And if you like KMFDM then you'll probably like MDFMK.

Former KMFDM bassist Tim Skold plays bass in Marilyn Manson now. He took Twiggy's place, and he's awesome. :)

MDFMK fucking IS KMFDM. They just were having label disputes so they did the name thing backwards and made a cd.

Now, if you like KMFDM, you'll like Slick Idiot. It's en esch and gunther's project after they left KMFDM.
KMFDM really is almost dead. I'm not suprised that rongi is the one who started this thread.

How can you say that? Their latest album "Attak" was one of the best albums ever, and I heard they're coming out with another one this fall.

they have changed their lineup thousands of times and i still love them, but at the end of their last tour everyone thought that would be the last for good. I am highly anticipating their latest album and possibly the tour. PIG covered the gaps int he band last time. I guess they aren't dead, but definitely past their apex. Attack did kick ass though. One of the best live shows i have ever seen too.

"WWIII" is coming out sometime this fall, and I cannot wait. That band is NOWHERE near dead, they've changed their lineup so many times that it doesn't really matter who comes and goes. Sascha is the heart and soul of the band, as long as he's there, KMFDM will still SUCK just as much as ever!

They tour with Pig, another really great band. Raymond Watts from Pig sings almost all of Nihil, and many other songs from other albums. They are so great to see live.

I've got to say that I saw them live as MDFMK and then again as KMFDM during the "Attak" tour, and I thought they were better as MDFMK, with just three people on stage. They seemed more "into" it then, and Raymond Watts, while cool, is almost impossible to understand when you see him live. He mumbles into the mic far too much.
