I really like this band. I've been listening to "99 Red Balloons" with the volume all the way up while playing Downhill Domination. :(

I think Goldfinger was in the first THPS. I hated that song.

I have a friend who likes them, so I gave them a listen. And I don't like them very much. :(

i saw them in concert a year or 2 ago.
they played with reel big fish.

in the middle of the show, goldfinger came out in womens clothing, covering the song "independant woman" from destiny's child.

genius.

I love all their cd except Open your eyes. That was the biggest piece of shit I've ever fucking heard in my entire life. The first three songs were great and then it all falls downhill with his girly songs.

At least in the other cds Goldfinger's girly songs were rocking and fun now they stink like my penis when I don't take a shower for two weeks.

Goldfinger is only sort of sucky, but Open Your Eyes is a giant pile of poop.

Mabel is my kinda Goldfinger song cause I'm a pop punk loser like that.

Yawn.

First saw Goldfinger about two years ago. Interviewed them for an on-line fanzine (including asking them to make up a song on the spot about spoons), then took them to a nightclub with 28 Days.

Saw them at Leeds last year.

Then fucking crewed their gig at the Student's union when they supported A.

Yawn.

The original version of 99 Red Ballons is much better.

The definitive cover of that tune is the seven seconds one, from yeeeeeaaaars ago. I can't believe a modern day shit 'punk' band would do it again.

I saw a 45 for the orginal song in Salvation Army. My record player doesn't play 45's so it wouldn't have been worth buying even though it was only a few cents...I should have bought it right?
