What the fuck is this bullshit?

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/action/aquamanbattleforatlantis/index.html

I do not remember Aquaman having a mullet, looking like he is 60 years old OR having a goddamn mechanical hand. >:

"TDK Mediactive announces the North American release of its DC Comics-inspired action game for Xbox and GameCube."

Which part of the comic inspired them to destroy the character? :rolleyes

I am curious if an aquaman movie is on the horizon after Hulk, Daredevil Spidey and Punny, it would be nice to see some DC characters get a decent movie

He's been looking for that for some time now, and I think this look is part of the some new cannon. They even used the new look in the new Justice League tv series.

Well, except the sports bra.

Taken from dccomics.com
Banished from Atlantis! Branded a traitor! Every denizen of the deep programmed to deliver him a death sentence…

It’s Aquaman as you’ve never seen him before!

The King of the Seven Seas makes his long-anticipated return to monthly comics with AQUAMAN—a new ongoing series that combines the talents of acclaimed storyteller Rick Veitch (GREYSHIRT: INDIGO SUNSET, Brat Pack), hot young penciller Yvel Guichet (JLA, BATMAN: HARLEY QUINN), inker Mark Propst, and stunning cover artist Alex Maleev (Daredevil, BATMAN: NO MAN’S LAND), to deliver an exciting new era in the life of the underwater crusader.

The aftermath of the epic JLA storyline "The Obsidian Age" has left Aquaman hated by his former subjects and exiled from the life-giving ocean he once called home. The king they called Orin is judged guilty of high treason for crimes committed during "The Obsidian Age." His sentence: death. Left to perish on an exposed reef, Aquaman discovers—to his horror—that all the creatures of the sea are instructed to attack him without mercy, and that he must now turn to other bodies of water for sanctuary. In a mysterious freshwater lake he finds refuge and much more, as he is granted amazing new powers and a brand-new mission in life! The oceans may be off-limits, but the Lady of the Lake has presented him with his true destiny.

AQUAMAN presents a refreshing new take on this classic, fan-favorite character — delivering amazing new adventures that readers never expected to see, and surprises as only Veitch can provide!

-----------

They had an "e-comic" based off the 1st issue of the new series, i went ahead and uploaded it for you guy's. (Adobe RequireD)

Personally, i didnt think that E-comic was too bad actually... I've read alot worse...

Sadly No explanation of the BRA, Think he snagged it from wonder-woman's panty drawer while hanging out at the JLA HQ

Aquaman was useless anyways. He'd be fucked in the new justice league if he was in it, there's no water anywhere anymore. That was his one means of transportation. If they had to rush to get somewhere, he'd manage to find a body of water to take him there. Besides, what could fish say that is so important. I bet all they could say it, "FLAP FLAP FLAP" over and over again, they arent that smart.

AQM: Where did manator get to, my trout friend?"
TROUT: FLAP FLAP FLAP FLAP FLAP FLAP."
AQM: FUCK!"

His only power is to talk to the fish. If the fish all hate him, he is now truly useless. :lol

To be honest, he was fucked to begin with.

I liked my original idea for an Aquaman game, for the PS2:

R1: Talk to Fish
R2: Talk to Fish
R3: Talk to Fish
L1: Talk to Fish
L2: Talk to Fish
L3: Talk to Fish
Square: Talk to Fish
Triangle: Talk to Fish
Circle: Talk to Fish
X: Talk to Fish

It would be a lot like Ecco the Dolphin, but with Aquaman.

I'm pretty sure Aquaman sported a mullet for Justice League Task Force for SNES/Genesis.....so did Superman!

Bump. >:

I bought it today for 15 bucks, and it's a pretty solid game. They gave him a hook hand, and made the other one out of water, but the actual game is quite good. It's like Spider-man, but when you get into battles with guys, it goes into a Street Fighter or Tekken thing. I think it's awesome, but on the easy side, and I was playing on normal.

The graphics are good for such a small release, but it lacks alot of levels. I got up to the 4th level within 1/2 an hour of play, and there are only 21 levels. :/

I thought it was pretty good. I didn't get to talk to the fish yet though. :( It's story is told in a comic book too. It was worth my 15 bucks. You get to play as the bad guy as soon as you beat the game. I think you are going agaist Aquaman. :)
