THUG- Tony Hawk Underground?

Read a fascinating interview about the next incarnation of the Tony Hawk Franchise: Tony Hawk Underground. Apprantly in this one you are able to walk around, run and climb shit etc... As well as rol on you're skateboard etc. IT sounds like a pretty cool idea. Personally i was a huge fan of these games and have high hopes. I'm not a big fan of the series but innovation is always good. Next time they should have the skateboarders be able to equip shotguns.

They are actually making it so you can upload your picture to the Neversoft website, and then download it to your PS2 and whatnot. You can make your own face in the game.

I think the formula is getting old. :/

its about time they added something new since 1-4 were esentially the same game. :/

I agree, -4- had some more freedom kind of, but essentially the same thing.. Hopefully this one will have the flair and originality that got me into the first one..

I never had a terrible urge to buy any of the original 4, but going on what I saw in a demo disc trailer for Underground, this one should be the best of the lot.

Just one thing that annoyed me: On the trailer, video of someone holding their board between their legs and shimmying along a wire from one skyscraper roof to another. :(

I'd quite like to see a downhile obstacle course race in a Hawk game. I can imagine it being alot more fun than Graffiti mode, anyway.

I am Tony Hawk's bitch. I loved the first 4 games. Sure, a lot of the things involved are repeated in the series, but it's fun. I liked exploring the new levels, and completing goals, and trying to outdo myself with bigger combos.

I'll probably buy every single game in the series, until they end it.

Hahah James, I feel the exact same way.... Just something about it i dunno. I used to skate (or tried to) many years ago not to mention i some of the tricks these guys pull nowadays are outrageous

ive been a tony hawk fan ever since the games came out. i had all of them, then somone stole part 3. damn them, but this game sounds like its gonna be awesome. im gonna love exploring the new levels and riding the shopping cars, cars, ect. im looking foward to it

I played the first three, and i think i have given them enough of my money already. THPS is out for me. :/

One other element that we've added is the ability to get into vehicles, not just in cars, but also stuff like shopping carts, golf carts, etc

If that isn't just a Jackass rip-off, I don't know what is!

It's pretty expectable for them includng some Jackass elements in it, seeing that Tony Hawk and the Jackass-crew are friends or something.
