With out a doubt, Tetris. What a simple, difficult, and refreshingly addictive game.

You do realise that by saying a Russian game about creating order from chaos by guiding blocks around a screen WILL result in a good kicking from the rest of the community. Least of all RoG himself.

Besides, why play Tetris when you can play HORROR HOUSE?!?!!?

Tetris is evil and should not be played by anyone EVER. All tetris players should be forced to listen to that music until the day they die.

Mystery Mansion was an unbelievable board game... could go under the Relics from the toybox thread as well.

So you're saying that game is synonomous to communism? Makes perfect sense.

Laser Tag?

Now that was sweet before a bunch of parents got it banned. You have a gun or a rapid-fire rifle and you try to harmlessly shoot your opponents. Perfect game all around until they tried to make the gun NOT look like a pistol....you know, when they turned it into a halfass phaser-ripoff that was attached to the vest.

But that sensor helmet? Blew ass. I always got my ass nailed when I wore it.

Intellivision Sea Battle.

AWESOME! Somebody else remembers that game. It was soooooooo good! Remember the tiny tiny tiny ship? It was so fast and had that powerful block bomb that could sink all the other ships in a heartbeat. I loved that shit...

If you are including boardgames, I would say "Talisman" by Games Workshop.

That white Laser Tag rifle kicked ass! My cousin Wes still has one in perfect condition. Every time I go over to his house I drag that fuckin thing out of whatever hole hes put it in, and every time I want to bash his skull in and run out the door with it. One of these days man... one of these days.

Nothing from the 80s beats The Legend of Zelda and the first couple of Mega Man games. Nothing.

They have that at a local roller rink here. I really can't see how it could be enjoyable.
