i hope freddy and jason beat those pesky kids this time, after 20 years of losing CANT THEY PLEASE WIN, i bet the audience would like that, as the kids are always annoying wimps, especially the brown haired shy girl who manages to kill freddy/jason every time

I read that during filming it was unknown even up to the very end as to who would win. So they filmed two endings. :)

For the people that got to screen the movie in advance, Robert Englund wanted to release two different endings... one with Freddy winning and one with Jason. Some people would see one ending and others would see another, and thus complete confusion would be spread around the country when they talked about who the winner was.

One of my biggest hopes for the film is that they'll have an option to choose either Freddy or Jason as the victor on the DVD.

Opening night, yeah I think there's a chance of it since it's on a Friday 'n all. Either way, I don't want to take any chances. I'll letcha know the showtime as soon as I find out. I'm guessing we'll go to a 7pm or 9pm show.
