I'm starting my year-long study of an author this September...chose Ray Bradbury...the only "classic American writer" (that was the main guideline) who can actually keep me reading. Yay.

I hate Kilgore Trout because he is supposedly based on Theodore Sturgeon, whom I enjoy very much.

Anyone ever heard of Harry Harrison- HE penned The Stainless Steel Rat and the Deathworld Trilogy... Some of my favorite books of all times, he also did a graphic novellette kinda thing that was so so (among many many other projects)

<- above you can click on each entry for the book cover and a synopsis - I highly recommend checking out Deathworld #1 and Stainless Steel Rat #1 (Damn that guy kicked out the sequels...)

I loved that story you told me about Harlan Ellison running after the bloke who didnt wash his hands after peeing in the airport toilet..
Philip K Dick is the only sci fi author as far as I am concerned...and I only have to get about 5 more novels before I HAVE THEM ALL!
