Modest Mouse are the biggest bunch of hacks ever. It's just piss poor vocals and music. All the fans say that since he doesn't even basic singing skill, it makes the songs more intimate or whatever. It just sucks ass. :rolleyes

I've never heard, nor have I ever had to make excuses for Brock's voice. It's a pretty piss poor argument against the band, if you ask me. Many talented musicians had voices that weren't harmonic and ideal. Bob Dylan comes to mind.....

If you need to hear pretty voices, maybe you should listen to Justin Timberlake. :rolleyes

They're nowhere NEAR as fucking awesome as Joy Division was.
