The new menu bar is up!

Well, it's up. They changed the look of the site completely, and now it is slower than it has ever been before (they decided it would be a good idea to include a bunch of 10 KB images all over the place), but overall it's pretty impressive looking.

You can PM other players, and there's a sabotage ability that you spies can do. I don't know how useful that will be, but time will tell.

There's lots of bugs, though. I tried to attack someone, and it came up with an error. I tried to buy stuff, and it came up with an error, then it worked. :/

I need to get my ass in gear and work more on my game. :(

The addition of the PM option sounds neat, but are there any other new options that are worth re-activating an account for? If it doesn't prove too slow and the number of errors decreases a little bit, then I'll consider re-activating tomorrow.

Don't know wether it'll hold my interest for as long as it did last time, though. Trading of soldiers, weapons and spies would be enough reason to stay. :(

So whats your strategy you going attack or defense?

Lately, I've been doing defense. I kept getting attacked so often at the beginning that I had almost nothing in my treasury. Now that I've raised my defense to above 14,000, I can pretty much repel any attacker for the time being. My gold is accumulating quite nicely. :)

I'm planning on working on my attack now, though, so I can start kicking ass and equipping every soldier with a weapon.

EDIT: To give you a little bit of an idea of how handy it is to have a good defense, I just repelled an 11,000 damage attack by the #284 player. :O
