Homework isn't so bad. Course, I just play my GBAsp between subjects, so that breaks up the monotony.

I leech student loans and grants from the government and send them long letters when they deny me until they approve. Ever since this DOT BOMB! business the rat race has been too spooky for me.

But none of you know how much torque to apply in order to proprely seat a honda brake rotor, or the simple joy of FAILING someones inspection and FORCING them to spend a couple hundred dollars before I allow them to leave! MWHAHAHAA!

Your not one of those mechanics they put on current affair shows that make the problems are you? >:

Evil Robot
Sep 4th, 2003, 01:04 AM
Let's just say the honest guys go out of business withing thier first three years, besides, brakes are the most profitable thing for us and performing unecessary jobs like replacing only half worn pads means you will never need new rotors. Also doing an alignment means your tires will last twice as long, thus saving you money.
Never let anybody tell you you need "stem lube" cause thats just bullshit. And if they tell you your cars not worth fixing and then offer to buy it for a measly $500, RUN LIKE HELL.

I hate when mechanics make repairs without first calling for confirmation. I'll be the one to decide if I need new belts, you turd. I didn't need the extra half hour of charged labor (with parts), thank you very little. >:

I have a three hour long night class on Shakespeare that starts in 38 minutes :(

And I had to wake up early to go to a class that started at 8 fucking AM this morning.

This semester is going to fucking suck so much :(

During my high-school years all my classes, (except for my electives)
were college prep :(

It's just Ganji. :|

It took me three pages front and back.

It took me about 2 hours mabye.

My night class sucked. It was only two hours long and it's supposed to be three, and it still sucked brown cherry. My left knees hurts like fuck for some reason. I can't fucking stand those wooden desks >:

I have 6 courses, 18 credits, a full fucking load this semester, and five of those courses are in cramped classrooms in horrifying uncomfortable desks. I only have one class in a room with nice big desks and comfortable chairs, and that's a two hour long news reporting lab.

On an added note, I'm reminded again that 90 percent of English majors are girls, and a shockingly large percent of that 90 percent is hot, hot, hot! However, there are also some incredibly ass ugly girls in the English program. Like so ugly they stick out.

And Jesus Q. Christ, I fucking can't stand non trad students. Some retarded 37-year-old career housewife who thinks taking six credits of literature courses will somehow translate into making big bucks always ruins all my classes by asking the most asinine fucking questions and smugly smiling as if they're proud that the teacher didn't tell them to piss off.

I have two AP classes this semester and I'll be adding AP Gov't next semester. Because I got into Literature and Composition later in the week I have to catch up by reading 200 pages of Native Son this weekend along with writing a paper on a literature prompt from an old AP test. YAY! I wish my parents weren't poor so I could buy the 6th addition MLA handbook. Oh well. I did get a 4 on the US history AP test. Future English major :(

Les Waste

Trust me, there isn't going to be too much of a difference between different editions of the MLA handbook. As long as you have one that was written after people started to cite sources on the internet, it's all pretty much the same crap. It's the same thing with the Associated Press style book.

I really wish I took more AP courses, just cause I only took three but I got good scores and just those three classes alone will help me graduate at least a semester earlier than what it would have otherwise taken.

I bitch and moan alot, but college is so much better than high school. All my high school teachers had Napoleon complexes :(

Do the AP tests scores mean anything? Do they affect your grade or your G.P.A or do they just show up on some transcript?

Les Waste
Sep 6th, 2003, 06:57 PM
They count as college credits. A typical college class is usually 3 credits, and although it depends what college you go to, a good score on the AP test can get you as much as 12 credits

I also got 14 retroactive credits cause I'm good at Spanish, or at least I was two years ago :(

I'm taking 6 AP classes this year and took 2 last year. The classes are harder, but you'll be able to get credits if you pass the AP tests, either allowing you to avoid any prerequisites or required classes and enter into more advanced classes in the subject, or just avoid the subject altogether.

:) :/
