People think they have to cook it till it's blackened to be safe to eat. 30 seconds on each side is more than enough. It should be chewy, not brittle.

My meat consists mostly of seafood. I can't stomach most of the heaver hormone-rich domesticated meats. Out of seafood I suppose I like salmon the most, especially copper-head. Plenty of it here in the PNW. The season is coming around.
