Rapheal is for cheap-asses >:. I like Necrid because he has just about the best moves from all of the characters and some of his own.

Yoshimitsu is one of the best, but not the best. the best is undoubtably necrid. it has the moves, and the power. I use yoshimitsu.

So are you saying that a character that has a throw that takes off 1/3 of your health isn't cheap? Because I know Necrid dosn't have any moves like that. >:

necrid is quite fast and deals above average damage with somewhat unpredictable range.

hell, ivy's criminal symphony does more damage than any single necrid attack, but that ends up balanced due to input requirements.

PS.the only character cheaper than necrid is heihachi. :/

Can't belive nobody mentioned Asaroth, he looks much better in the first one I should say. I think Necrid and his 1 huge hand looks retarted, people only like him because Todd McFarlane created him.

Ivy is a rip off of a character from that shitty World Fighter's game.

I kinda think nightmare is the cheapest of the characters. Although he's sort of slow, you can win a lot of matches only using single strikes :/

You can adjust the characters to speak japanese :/

I like Mitsurugi, but he's a blatant rip off of Haomaru(sp?) from Samurai Showdown.

Yet Haomaruwas a ripoff of blanka from streetfighter which was a ripoff of Haggar from final fight which was a ripoff of Haomaru from Samurai Showdown...

My brother always plays me as Link. But I always beat his ass. It could just be that my brother is terrible at the game but I didn't like Link all that much :/.

I think Link is the cheapest one of all, if you constantly use that throw of his to get ring outs. Personally, I like Voldo the best. he's fast, strong if used correctly, fucking creepy, and honors the Alien movies with his 3rd costume.

I just got SC2 this week and I went straight to Link (forgive me!) but then i realised that you can beat alot of the fights with the megaton hammer without doin much. I now play as either Mitsurugi, Taki & sometimes Nightmare but if i feel like playing with Link i just play him with the master sword. I know these characters are probably not the 'best' but i like them.

EDIT: I quite like Yunsung aswell & Maxi's alright.
