So who else has been reading Neil Gaiman's Marvel epic? I've been enjoying it so far, and I think I've got everyone's identity figured out. Though I must say it was the end of the second issue before I figured out who Rojhaz is supposed to be. I just totally didn't catch who he was until that obvious visual clue at the end of issue 2.

My roommate has a problem with a lot of it, like Cyclops's ruby quartz visor and the X-Men still having uniforms, but that stuff doesn't bother me at all. I think it's fantastic and I can't wait to see where Gaiman ends up taking it.

I still can't figure out how Virginia Dare plays into the whole thing though. I imagine she's an original character who isn't supposed to represent anyone in the normal Marvel universe, and I'm sure she's that freaky owl thing that shows up at the end of issue 2.

I haven't picked up #2 yet. Yeah, those blonde locks and the fact that he was from the new American colonies pointed to him being Captain America. Plus, his name Rojhaz sounds like Rogers.

The day I read this thread Declan asked me to pick up issue 2 for him, but I'd never heard of it before.

I will have to read it now if you two smarties like it :)

I'll warn you now, this is probably not something you might just pick up and appreciate as much as Gaiman's other work if you're not fairly familiar with the Marvel comic universe.

I live with a comic book geek, if I get lost I've got a good reference guide handy ;)
