Listen to The Ventures, bitch. Not 50's but sixties, but one of the best instrumental bands in the world.

Pelican rules The Ventures. Dude, fuck 50's and 60's download Pelican. They have a 4-song ep out right now, and a 6-song full length comming out. They fucking destroy.

I like Sleepwalk by Santo and Johnny (cliche, but a nice song) and I like the Ventures and Booker T. & The MG's a lot (Green Onions is a great little number).

Theres plenty of rare 60s Northern Soul instrumentals that would blow your socks off. So rare though I cant remember the names of any of the artists without getting off my ass and checking my CDs. But heres some song titles...
Interplay
Boogaloo Investigator
Double Cookin'- ??? and the Checkerboard Squares
Footsee-Wigans Chosen Few

Bump :o
So far I've listiened to Booker T. & The MGs and The Ventures. They are both really nice. I kinda like Booker T a lil more, but The Ventures kick ass :).
I especially like "Johnny, I love you" and "Green Onions"

Nice one dude. Green onions is a fine song, The Ventures covered it as well of course....the best Ventures stuff by far is about 1967 or earlier. They got really crappy in the seventies.
