Just wanted to know, if you are anything like me you start planing Nov. 1st on what you are going to be next year...
Halloween is my second favorite holiday next to Labor day (burning man). Followed by St, Patrick's and the 4th of July... Nothing beats getting drunk in public, or blowing shit up... Oh yeah the Jew holidays rock too...

I always make my own costumes...we've worn them to school for "Spirit Week" (Halloween happens to be in the week before homecoming) since 6th grade.

Try dressing up again the day after Halloween and going around again for candy. Works especially well if you look like you haven't slept in days and just got over a massive hangover. Some of the looks you get are priceless.

But I think since 5th grade I just got bored and dressed up in the same ninja costume for the next 4 years. My friend did the same thing, dressed up as a red "m&m" like 10 years in a row. A couple of years ago, I stopped doing it. Instead I hand out candy to the black people that come to my doorstep. They hold out their backpacks, and I just throw candy in. :/

Last year was the best, because no one came to our house. The streetlights were out, so it was absolutely pitch black, and no one came. I got to eat all the candy afterwards. :)

I have great costume ideas but I never have any reason to dress up.

I'd either be Chris Peterson from Get A Life, Rick from the Young Ones, or my dad after we had magically switched bodies. The last one would be the easiest, all I'd need to do is dress like myself, act like my dad going door to door ("Candy? I don't like candy! I like neckties, and socks!") and learn and important lesson about being yourself at the end of the night.
