Anyone remember this show? I just remember a few characters that were ultimate badasses.

There was Longarm who was a good cop with a handcuff that shot out of a wrist launcher on his arm. And thier was Buttons McBoomBoom. He looked like a 50's style gangster with a pinstripe maroon suit. But the coolest thing about that guy was he would pull his jacket open and two machine guns dropped out of his chest and he would light the place up like a christmas tree.

There was also some really fat mob boss who reminded me of Kingpin. There was also a crazy doctor who had a robot friend with a saw on his hand.

And when did this air? I've never heard of it. :(

I think his name WAs kingpin. I just remember the hot villain Miss Demeanor and Longarm, and a big black guy.

I remember the show being on in 1988 or 89. It was short lived for about a year. Not as dope as Silverhawks.

Though I wasn't a big fan of this show, the rollcall in the beginning and end was pretty much imprinted on my memory.

Note that Miss Demeanor was notoriously ugly, Spooky. You were probably thinking of Nightshade.

The good guys: Highway, Mainframe, Longarm, Bowser & Blitz, Sundown, Hardtop, Mirage, Bullseye, Mace, Barricade, Bulletproof.

The bad guys: Big Boss, Berserko, Rock Crusher, Miss Demeanor, Turbo Tu-Tone, Dr. Badvibes, Nightshade, Buttons McBoomBoom.

All I remember about that show is that I always wondered why they called the girl "Mister Meaner" But I was a stupid kid back then.

And wasn't the title written out like C.O.P.S? Any idea what the acronym was for it?

Bulletproof was the Chief's name.

Bulletproof was a fucking badass. He was a fucking cyborg with enough firepower in his chest to basically LEVEL A BUILDING!!!

I loved that show :(

In the opening episode, Bulletproof was heavily wounded and was turned into a cyborg, and Berserko and I think Turbo were trying to kill him with a machinegun they hid in a bouket of flowers, and they shot off his bandages and it showed his robot body and he just started shooting them up with a bunch of machineguns in his chest. :love

Also, Bulletproof's name was B.P. Vest.
