Looks like Comcast got nervous when they saw I was logging on from Kinkos. Either that, or it's just pure shit luck. Whatever the case may be, our cable modem is finally back up and running (though it's running slow as a 28.8 modem at the moment) and I have a nice chunk o' updates ready for the site.

First off, during the power outage due to the hurricane, we had to survive some rough conditions. Since I was going to originally be doing a new piece for the Halloween Grab Bag section, I went ahead and did one all about how we survived the hurricane.

Halloween Grab Bag Update: HURRICANE HORROR!

At the end of that piece, you'll find a link to a bunch of the hurricane damage photos that Re, Proto, and myself took in Richmond. All I can say is... the trees got angry. Very, very angry. :(

Next on the list is a big update to the Boo Berry site. In addition to the old Comedy Central feature being back up on the site (with a kind mirror file hosting by Chojin), Boo Berry is back and taking the cereal world by storm this year. He's got a badass new box and his very own wacky wobbler figure! So be sure to check it out and order one for yourself... it's about damned time General Mills came to their senses!

Ok that's all for today cuz I have a shitload of emails and projects to get caught up on. If any of you have sent me messages recently or placed orders on I-Mockery, I'll get to them as soon as possible.

Enjoy all of the new spooky goodness!

Super Fresh had two different Boo boxes, but neither were that neat new one. When we visited Schimid we brought Boo with us and he turned it down at first, saying he hated it. But Emily got him to try it later and he was like UH..UH..UUH.. and sat with his legs crossed the rest of the day.

NOBODY EVER FUCKING REMEMBERS FRUITY TOOTY MUMMY >: >:

That's Fruity YUMMY Mummy. :rolleyes

And I remember him all too well, unfortunately, his cereal didn't taste nearly as good as fruity pebbles. And that's why Boo Berry is king of my cereal world, there was never anything like that cereal and there never will be... thus it must be continued forever.

If I've never tasted something, I always say I hate it. :(

Good lord, roger the damage in those photo's you took look like the damge hugo caused sumter when it bitch-slapped us in 89. I can remember the raffield arms appartment building falling onto the police station when hugo hit, but nothing like that charred out shoneys.

Alfred Bello had a partner and he had a rap for the cops.
Him and Arthur Dexter Bradley were just out prowlin' around
He said, "I saw two men runnin' out, they looked like middleweights
They jumped into a white car with out-of-state plates."
And Miss Patty Valentine just nodded her head.
Cop said, "Wait a minute, boys, this one's not dead"
So they took him to the infirmary
And though this man could hardly see
They told him that he could identify the guilty men.

I don't think the photos even really capture just how fucked up the area was. There's people that are still without power and apparently won't have it until October 6th. Pretty crazy.

Oh well, at least Boo Berry is here. And for those of you looking for the schnazzy new boxes, you can find them on sale at Wal-Mart. That's the one place I've seen them so far and they're definitely worth picking up.

we were without power for only about eight hours total. and two doors down, a huge oak tree was uprooted and fell on a house, but there wasn't any significant structural damage 'cause only the top of the tree actually hit the house.

oh. and booberry was always my favorite cereal. my mom and dad recall my moping when we could no longer find it in grocery stores.

Wayne is my roommate, and I've been trying to get him to post on I-Mockery for a while, but he's just not interested. :/

I just tacked on a story that Chojin wrote at the bottom of my "Hurricane Horror" piece since his story is also about the recent hurricane. So check it out, I'm sure you'll love her photos. ;)

I remember once, Chojin slammed one of my rom hack reviews, and I wanted to see Chojin try to do better.

As it turns out, I really didn't.
