I'm a singer/songwriter/beginner guitarist, and I started out just writing and singing my own stuff. Well one day on Deviantart I met Cadedyeko, who was looking for a singer. I talked with him, and since then we've been co-writing songs and recording them for a demo cd. pretty good. But it'd sound a LOT better if it was mixed differently. Too bad you don't live in portland or i'd do it for you. :/

well we do everything over the computer because he lives in Australia...I think a lot of it is the quality of my mic :/ (cheeeeapo)

no, it's the levels. Maybe try doing everything into the mic a bit louder and compressing the vocals so it is evened out.

Those recordings sound like ass. They have potential, but like wreck said, they are mixed like shit.
