Subliminal messages in songs

I was listening to Nine Inch Nails' remix cd 'further down the spiral' earlier today and accidently discovered some of the subliminal messages in song number 11, erased over out. While the song was playing, i accidently pressed the fast forward button of the remote control. I swear it was repeating the words 'GIVE IT UP GIVE IT UP'. I figured if I tried rewinding the song, i'd find a message. Turned out that I might've heard 'HATE YOU HATE YOU HATE YOU'.

or maybe i was just being delusional. :/
