28 Days Later- Alternate Ending

I just watched 28 days later, and apparently there's an alternate ending. I can't find it anywhere locally, can someone tell me exactly what happens in the alternate ending?

it's EXACTLY the same apart from Jim dying.

I know, I was very dissappointed when I saw it on the DVD.

Also, the originally intended ending featured Frank surviving and them doing a blood transfusion between him and Jim, so Jim got infected and Frank being normal again. But, for obvious reasons it was abandoned.

I was also sad when Frank got infected. He was a bad-ass. :(

The alternate ending of the movie takes place right when Frank get's infected. And the military isn't even in the final part of the film.

After Frank gets infected, Jim knocks him out with a baseball bat and they tie up frand with rops and put him in the car. The roadblock was actually blocking the road to the Cambridge Primate Research facility where the infection first spread.

After investigating the inside of the labratory Jim finds a doctor who has locked himself in a room. Jim asks the doctor for help and what they can do to save Frank. And what spectre said the studio decided not to put it in because a full body blood transfusion sounds retarded.

All it was, was story boards and Danny Boyle commentating.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I love the part where MAYLA vomits blood in the soldiers face.

no, that wasn't the alternate ending Tropical was talking about. That was the originally intended ending, which they scrapped for obvious reasons. The alternate ending he means is the one that's been released in theatres, where Jim doesn't survive being shot.

Is that the one where Celine ends up talking to a chicken while she sews together all the sheets to make a big "O"?

When I first saw the movie I thought they also could have ended the show right when the three crash into the gates as they ram it and Jim and Celene go flying forward into the front seat of the car.

Yeah, when I was at the movies at the exact point, some black lady said, "THAT SUCKED!" And there was still 15 minutes left. :lol

Wait, it's out on DVD already? :(

I got my DVD from this place that imports european DVD's. And it only plays on a Region 1 DVD player. Buy an Apex or play it on the computer. >:
