Yeah, it's too bad the meeting this year never worked out. Guess they'll have to shoot for next year sometime unless somebody is planning a late fall / winter mockmeet.

I live about the same distance as Vibe, except I live East of SF while she lives to the South. Anyway, I doubt that you would really want to hang out with me for an afternoon so my reply is pointless.

Wow, this is strange isn't it? It just so happens that I actually might be in SF this Saturday. My friend is turning 18 so we are planning to take the train there so we have dinner at, of all places, Hooters. Hmm...I have no idea if this is really going to happen though.

Rene, I'm staying at Fisherman's Wharf right on the embarcadero. There's a Hooters 40 feet from my hotel. If you're going to be in town, let me know. I'm here working for Fleet Week, but I'm sure I can spare a few minutes.

Yes, I live in San Diego. I work at Point Loma. Camp Pendleton is a Marine Base about a half hour north of SD.

Rene, it might be hard to ID me 'cause I'll be a drunk Sailor amongst a gaggle of drunken Sailors. Just look for the handsome one and yell, "McClain!" I'll try to come over and have a beer.
