For those of you keeping score, this makes it the 10th Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring special edition DVD
Soon they are going to have to sell raw footage on yards of tape

If you had paid any attention to all 8 lines of the first post, you would have realised that it's not a new DVD release.

You would have to be a bigass fan to sit through about nine hours of movie.

I think people will be in so much pain if they try to hold their piss for the whole thing.

My roommates are going to see all three movies in one day and they want me to go with them. On one hand it's kind of nice to see them wanting to leave the house, since they almost never leave the warm glow of their computer monitors...but at the same time, I don't think I could sit through three three hour + movies in one day unless I was in the comfort of my own home and could pause it to get a drink or take a dump or whatever.
Plus, I don't want to be all tired of watching movies by the time I see "Return of the King".

The more I read about it, the more it seems to either be an excuse to get tickets for three movies when most will bolt after the first or to sell some hardcore fans movie crap.

Awesome, this is happening at the Senator theatre here. I'm definitely heading there on the 16th :o

This is the reason I've turned down every offer I've gotten to warm up with FotR and TTT before seing RotK in the theatre.
