i got into this big arguement with my moms boyfriend about the word fuck. he said that its too offensive and that most people are offended by it. i said that most people would prefer to use it but are either too conditioned or too afraid of the punishment to use it. so im wondering... whos offended by the word fuck?

Fuck didnt start as an offensive word , it used to be an anocronim for Fornication Under the Consent of King , way back in medieval england (or earlier) married couples used to have to ask the kings permission to FUCK , it was illegal not to , a way of showing they had permission (consent) was to paint the letters F.U.C.K on their door , this meant when couples got down and dirty and made alot of noise they wouldnt get arrested.

Thats a myth MK IV. The origin of the word is disputed but they've confirmed that is not its origin.
