Capcom has announced that they are making the Megaman Compilation for Gamecube and PS2. This will include Megaman 1-8 and the 2 arcade games. Also, there's unlocable stuff and extra goodies. All I have to say to this is......
FINALLY
I've waited YEARS for Capcom to make a collection of the Megaman games, and now we get one! Too bad none of the X series is involved. :(
It's set to be released in Feb.

They did the same thing for Sonic. It was terrible. :(

This would have been cool if they announced it before I went and got the first six games that are playable on my DC for absolutely nothing!
Oh, fuck it, I'll buy it. Why? Because maybe you can save your progress through each game on a memory card instead of those password thingies. I'd be more impressed if they put Mega Man X 1-6 on a disc and were done with it.

Now I heard it'll have the Game Boy games as well. I hope it's true.

The Gameboy games suck major amounts of ass.

I know that (I have one that I got for my birthday) but without it, it doesn't complete a collection.
Hell, it's sad to say, but even without the HORRIBLE PC games, it won't be complete. :(

About time.
Some writer for EGM listed probably the same Mega Man compilation package at the top of their monthly, "Best of" imports. That issue is, at least, three years old now.
I think a move that would definitely bring Nintendo back into the competition would be to release some kind of "Nintendo Classics" compilation, or something. A compilation stuffed with games from Ninja Gaiden, Adventure Island, Double Dragon, etc.

^ which they don't own those games.
and the sonic collection would've been fine, if they actually ADDED A SAVE OPTION LIKE I'VE WISHED FOR THEM TO DO EVERY 546782764 OF THEIR OTHER SONIC AND SHIT COLLECTIONS. >:

The problem with the Sonic Collection is that it was not made by Sonic Team, even though the games were made by them. Sega made it, and just slapped it out on the market. Now if Sonic Team made it, it may have had a later release date, but it would've been WAY better with save features, able to use the spin dash in sonic 1, and it would've had Sonic CD like it was supposed to (someone hacked it, and found out that Sonic CD was supposed to be in it, but was taken out in the final release). Sonic Jam did that (excluding Sonic CD), and they should've done that too with the collection.
