Considering I own nearly 60 games on this system since 1991....

- Super Mario World (Total given)
- Super Mario Kart (Again, total given)
- Earthbound (A good breather from medieval and gay raver RPGs.)
- Zombies Ate My Neighbors (Pure, unbridled 80s-cheese fun.)
- Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past (Just because it's Legend of Zelda.)
- Saturday Night Slam Masters (Infinitely better than any of the wrestling games that was out at the time.)
- StarFox (Graphics are uglier than sin but the game was stylish for it's time.)
- Uniracers (It's like Skate or Die meets that one shitty racing game on the NES...with one wheel.)
- SUPER Street Fighter II (You don't need Turbo if you own this.)
- Mortal Kombat II (The best of the series, and the one that at least gave an illusion of variety, unlike 3, Ultimate 3, Trilogy, and all the others.)

There you go. Ten very good games for a classic system, which won't cost a mazillion dollars for one game (This is why I held of on any Squaresoft or Breath of Fire....or Mega Man X games. You can get their PSX re-issues for dirt friggin' cheap now.).

People buy Super Nintendo for Mario. There is really no need to play any other platforming game after these. They cover all bases. It's not even worth explaining why!

Probably one of my Top 3 favorite games of all time. I have a distinct hatred for RPG's since they all play alike (and if they are anime based they all look alike too). This game is just pleasing all around with it's music and simple but eye catching graphics. It doesn't bowl you over with a long boring story with terrible cutscenes. Earthbound does everything good and everything fun!

It's disappointing that there aren't a ton of game like this kind (Secret of Mana was one but it had that charging bullshit that made it tedious) but A Link To The Past does almost everything right. I just wish there was more variety of lairs other then castles and dungeons (what bosses can't live outdoors?).

Easily one of the best of it's genre (Streets of Rage 2 and Simpsons Arcade being the others). I remember being sold on the SNES when you could throw foot soildiers at the screen. It really doesn't get old. Best time travel based game ever (suck it C. Trigger).

Those are four games worth buying for the Super Nintendo. They provide hours of entertainment even after their novelty runs off (unlike uniracers and zombies ate my neighbors).

NBA JAM (because I'm a ****** for basketball)

Yoshi's Island (IT'S A KIDDIE GAME, whatever fags)

Mario Paint (I love the music maker)

Super Metroid (Too much of a commitment to play all the way through)

Chrono Trigger (Overall I hate it like all anime based games, but I liked the music and I did play it longer then most RPG's before giving up)

Castlevania 4 + Super Ghost and Ghouls (fun but too hard, end up cheating)

Wild Guns (A pretty good shooter game, but pretty short)

Mortal Kombat (if you don't have the genesis version or Street fighter aint gory enough for you)

FZERO (way over Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart didn't hit it's stride until N64 days)

The First Donkey Kong Country (and only the first)

I don't remember what the game was called but I had rented it for SNES twice in one week, but it had kind of a Conan feel to it and the level select was like a tree with the different levels branching out as the game progressed.

I played the sega saturn version, so maybe it was different from the snes version? I just remember thinking it was a chore to play through. Most of the boss designs were totally lame, especially the tiger. I dont know if X3 was the worst, I did play through it till the end. I cant say that much for X5 or X6. God those games sucked

I like X3 simply because of the enormous amount of peripherals you can get (the "pink" chips, the gold armor, the Z saber, and the ability to switch to playing Zero) and I think it has the best music. Although yeah, some of the boss designs are lacking and they tend to have patterns that are far too predictable. Otherwise I love it
