After hearing from my friend who works at futureshop that they haven't received any PS3's in the 60 GB format since the announcement of the PS3 price cut in July, and a day ago I hear from him that the PS3 is only $100 cheaper until they sell all the remaining 60GB packages and replace them with the new 80 GB version back at the original price of the 60GB system.
To me this shows a lack of confidence in the consumer.
