NEW FORUM QUESTION: How large should signatures be?

This is the first in a series of POLLS about how you think we should change the forums in the BIG HUGE REDESIGN COMING SOMETIME!

Today's question is: How large should signatures be? Should we even allow images?

Here are some reference pictures of how large these size options are:

Option 1: Text only, 2-3 lines maximum.

Option 2: Images allowed, 220 x 75 maximum. (Or, 4 lines of text)

Yep, I gotta agree with you there. Anything beyond choice 3 is just overkill and will almost always take up way more space than what's actually being posted by the user. Personally, I think choice #2 is just right... not too big, not too small.

I think turning off images would be great for us admins, cause there's no way for people to get around that. All of our various forum softwares are notoriously retarded about auto-rejecting signatures and typically when we remove peoples' sigs for being too big they just put it back up.

Option 3 should be the standard, but I suppose if you have something really special in mind then go for the gold.
