My dad, who has had three, yes THREE, heart transplants, has recently lost his social security because he works too much. But working as much as he does (which he has to do to support his family) causes him health problems such as gout and recent bone infection thus upping his medical bills that he can't pay because he just got a bill for $15,000 to pay back the goverment for social security that they didn't think that he deserved. did i mention that i am 22 and already, thanks to a brain tumor, have over $20,000 in medical bills.

As for your problem, stop being an idiot an get a FUCKING JOB, if my dad can do it, so can you.

I've been pretty sick the past two weeks and a few of my pals are away on vacations but that has been the only lowpoint of the year. I'm well on my way on starting a career I'm really going to enjoy and I'm having a lot of fun!

Just remember to have fun as much as you can. What's the point of success if you are miserable all the time? You don't get that time back!

As for missing a lot of classes I use to be like you and missed quite a few in college. What I did to remedy that was allow myself to miss two classes a semester as personal appointed vacations (ME TIME). It worked and I did great!

If it makes you feel better I am watching a terrible episode of Becker right now.

Here's a synopsis of that Becker episode, bigMcLargehuge so you never have to see it.


Part 1: That fat monster from Lost is talking to the blind person. He seems to hatch a scheme with him but I couldn't hear anything with the sound down. I turn it up only to see it cut to the terrible theme song, which sounds like something that would be in the poetry slam that Mike Meyer's character in SO I MARRIED AN AXE MURDER attends.

PART 2: I see this thread and post in it, giving sage advice. When typing it I hear the words "I know he's old but I need money for my student loans". I assume it's a tasteless sex joke and a slight at Ted Danson.

PART 3: Becker is in the hospital with an arm cast. A black woman who reminds me of Howard Stern's producer gives him some cigarettes even though it's illegal to smoke in hospitals as hospitals are washed with gasoline. Becker decides to remedy the situation by smoking out the window. A docter comes in and puts the cigarette out promptly. Becker passes the buck to his black female companion, who he labels "an enabler".

PART 4: I get distracted by making a grocery list in which I finally remember to put Colby Jack Cheez-Its on the list. When I look back at the TV I see Becker in his apartment with his cast making out with the doctor who put out his smokes. It is then I propose a theory that Becker is a terrible show.


So there you go, dude. If you ever see any of these clues when you are watching a Becker episode (the arm cast being the best hint) you should turn off the TV and use that 30 minutes to do something for yourself.

I got a phone call last week from "University Division", and I think they want to have a nice little chat between me and the director over whether or not I should return to the University. I would love to return to Chicago to get my degree, but I know that the dean there is scared shitless of me and hate my guts.

For the first time in years I'm working regular hours rather than just going to work when I feel like it (which my supervisor at my Geology job was cool with, yay nepotism) so I like having money to spend.

It's weird, I find it difficult to tell how my life is going. Good I guess, but a different type of good to the way it was as recently as 2 years ago. I mean I used to sit around doing literally fuck all except for playing video games and watching films. It was a good life as far as I was concerned.
These days I work in an office from 7am - 6:30pm and once I get home I usually have to go shopping, phone people up to sort out various things (BT, Sky, ISP, Landlord, etc) or do housework and eventually hit the sack at about 11pm.
On the face of it it seems like my life 2 years ago was much better than it was now but I don't think I could go back to my slovenly ways just because my eyes have been opened to real life and I would probably feel weirdly guilty if I wasn't busy doing things.

We have the smoking ban here now which basically means you're not allowed to smoke in any public location with more than 3 walls (pubs, bus stops etc, etc) I though this would make me quit but now I just stay at home and smoke instead of going out.

I'm having a feud with my postman. This fucktard likes to come up to the mail slot on my door and tease my dog by sliding the mail in and out of the slot provocatively. While he does this the dog rips the mail to shreds, literally. I've got checks and bills which are shredded beyond recognition. I tried to be nice to this asshole and calmly asked him to please stop doing that, and he just smirked and acted like he wasn't doing anything. But if he thinks no one is home he still does this. Well I saw this fucker doing it again and I snapped. I snuck up alongside the door and when he was moving the mail in and out of the slot, I jumped out and grabbed his arm and pulled it through the slot and let my dog bite it. Then in a rage I said something like "Just put the god damned mail in and then get the fuck out of here you little bitch." If i wasn't so pissed off I probably would have cracked up at the expression on his face. He took off in a big hurry and did'nt say anything. I think he thought I was one step away from coming out on the porch and fist fighting him, which I probably would have done if he had said one smart-ass thing. So now I'm basically waiting to see if I'm going back to jail or not. So if i disappear for a long time, thats what happened. Not that many people would notice :lol
