In the latest installment of Tales From The Longbox, Proto takes a look at a comic book based on the game "DOOM". It was a free comic, and as you'll see, he's absolutely right about that still being too costly.

that comic was hilariously awful. I was just replaying Doom on one of the ports people have made after iD released the source code (looks slightly less ancient now). It takes like 5 shots from bfg to kill a cyber demon on the easiest difficulty. I demand realism in my comics about video games!

"Look at that, the demons are even fighting each other! They're totally
ignoring video game logic that states all bad guys have to team up on you!"
The demons and humans really do attack each other in the game. Terrible, terrible comic though.

It's about time Proto did one of these longbox things on a comic I've actually read! >:

I used cheat codes once and actually did berserker punch a Cyberdemon to death. >:

I read this as an internet version with my friends few years ago. We seriously went hysterical with the "hail to the chief" panel, if Proto knows what I'm talkin' bout :)
