Secrecy can be necessary when revealing our capabilities would give an edge to the enemy.

HOwever, I sympathize witht hose who suppor thabeaous corpuseous, etc.

Pres. Lincoln was a fool!!! over this but he is regarded as a hero. President Bush tried to be a hero about this and was regarded as a fool -- history pulls a reversal? :)

I also think that the principles are good but:

"Restore habeas corpus for alleged alien enemy combatants, i.e., non-citizens who have allegedly participated in active hostilities against the United States, to protect the innocent;"

Alien enemy combatants... AKA POWs regardless of how you go about it.

The strain of producing a trial for them and the question of who would act as their judges is OVERWHELMING.

Stream of consciousness writing doesn't really count as intelligent debate on a message board. Just sayin

I would like to call it to your attention that you have a spelling error in your subject, Dr. V.

I saw it the first time I saw the thread, but I didn't want to say anything, but this has just gone too far!
