Here's my latest feature about some kickass classic monster figures by Remco from the 70's along with the laboratory play case which served as a place for them to their all of their monster parties. Because, you know... that's what monsters do when they get together. Seriously.

Yes indeed. We're all invited to their monster parties. Always.
But please tell me I'm not the only one here who not only remembers Remco's mini monsters, but also had some of 'em back in the day.

Hell to the no, sir, you are not alone. I also had all 6 of these in my youth, but I don't think mine were the glow-in-the-dark variety. Also, I never had the case/lab thing.
At the time, I think these and Star Wars were the only figures around that i owned, GI Joe not being available for another year or so.
NO! Wait, I distinctly remember having a couple Clash of the Titans figures too, specially Calibos and maybe Charon around this time too.
Still, the fights in a second-grader's "UniversaLucas-verse" would be legendary, Walrus Man vs. the Creature From The Black Lagoon! The Wolfman vs. Chewbacca!! DRACULA VERSUS VADER, MAN!!! Screw Alien and Predator battles, I wanna see this fight, again!

They look great.
Why noone is putting out Universal Classic Monster Actionfigures is beyond me.

If they were released again, wouldn't it just be these same 6 characters?
Edit - after some research, you could add The Invisible Man, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Bride of the Monster to the list of figures. I thought maybe the Fly and King Kong but, no. The Fly was 20th century Fox and Kong was RKO.
It would be cool to see a new release, though, since figure sculpting and paint jobs have come such a long way since the early 80's.
