I was walking down the street about a quarter mile from my place in Minneapolis with my college sweatshirt and my bald, white head, and a BADASS GANGSTA on a tiny BMX bike shouted at me, "In the wrong part of town, ain't you, KKK?"
A couple of blocks later, two BADASS GANGSTA women in trashy but reasonably expensive-looking clothes said they were homeless and asked me for a handout. I said I didn't have any cash, and one of them took on a snotty tone and said "there's an ATM right back there (a block back at the convenience store), you got plastic, don'tcha?" and proceeded to talk trash about me to her companion as I shrugged and kept walking.
1) yeah, lady, good luck finding someone who's going to take a walk to an ATM to hand you twenty bucks.
2) wow, ghetto people are assholes. I'm moving to Uptown.

Geggy, could you go back and put "What is the deal?" at the end of your post?

what do you call 300 white guys chasing a black man? The PGA Tour. Ba-zing!
Seriously though, Pern...racism only works one way. That is, white on black. See: the Duke lacrosse rape case. If those athletes had been black and the alleged "victim" been white, being disbarred (dis-BAR'd?) would have been the least of that prosecutor's worries. I know he brought the charges for political reasons, but the public statements he made were purely inflammatory and that kind of conduct is inexcusable. It's reverse racism at work. A white guy (the prosecutor) tries to crucify 3 or 4 white guys (the lacrosse players) in an attempt to appease and gain the vote of the african american community.
Why dey gotta be black?

you could have handled both situations better, perndog. you should have told the bmxer "mang fuck whitey!" and he would have felt stupid! the 2 black ladies, you should have said "i'm sorry, i'm poor, why don't you give me some money instead because i am really hungry?"
then you would have really won the day and maybe made some friends and some money

A few days ago I was leaving work and some dirty looking Native guy walked up to me. I was ready to tell him "No," but he told me a joke and walked away instead. :O
Some panhandler was sitting on the sidewalk once with his legs all spread out so people had to walk around him. He got mad at me when I just stepped over him! He started yelling about how I could afford to give him some change because I had a nice jacket, so I laughed at him.
Another time I was walking down the street with a few friends and some bum walked up to us while holding a bunch of plastic bags. Then one of my friends was like, "Sorry, I already have a bag" and the guy just started staring at us while we walked away. :lol

I thought they called Indians "Aboriginal" or something in Canada now.

What was the joke?
My guess is:
"What is a fish's favorite floor? CARPet. :lol"

Actually, it was something like, "What do you call a white man surrounded by 1000 Indians?" The answer was "bingo caller." :lol
It's OK to laugh at it because he laughed too. >:

Aboriginal/Native/Indian... I've never really met anyone who's been fussy over the terms. They're pretty much used interchangeably like "black" and "African-American." There's even a street gang here that call themselves the Indian Posse :O
If you feel like being derogatory, you call him chief. ;)

The term is "First Nations", unless you are refering to Metis or Inuit people. I think "Aboriginal" is a blanket term for the three groups, but I'm not sure.

Most Indians I've met like to be referred to as "the dealer".
Sorry, couldn't resist.

That's funny because in the US it implies casinos and in Canada it implies drugs. :(
