Hey, proto, I'm with you that this has become THE comic to read. It's good bad, like that episode where Shatner plays Kirk posessed by a chick, or gets split into wimpy Kirk and Crazy Ass Kirk.

I'm not suggesting that Miller is in total control of his actions, but I also think he's not entirely out of control. I think that while he may have started with something different in mind, at this point he intends the book to be black comedy.

If he actually had any self control, he'd have plotted it and left the scripting to somebody else. Or maybe not. This is sort of like a movie shot by, I don't know, Chris Columbus with story by Quentin Tarrantino and dialoge by Ed Wood. I LOVED this version of the JLA, I think it's maybe my favorite ever.

I like the fact that it looks like he gave Wonderwoman culottes. They look like a skirt but function like shorts. The original Wonderwoman had them, and I think that the star-spangled panties she usually has to wear look undignified. The tiara extending down over her nose looks ridiculous though. :fashionista

Of course, Miller managed to fall pretty short on providing her and the other characters with dignity in other ways....
