I've heard along the TV show, there is another trilogy planned (Terminator 4-6). There's a thread about it over at www.quickstopentertainment.com.

Most american media nowadays tends to take a good thing and strip it of what made it good in the first place and shit all over it

Anyways, I have my doubts about the the show, but I don't think it'll do much more damage to the series than what they did in Terminator 3 and what will happen in the sequel.

Wasn't Prime Directives the name of the tv series? Never heard about the tv movies or cartoon though. In my perfect world there is only one movie. Maybe two. :(

Just to be certain, I checked wikipedia, and in addition to the two animated cartoons, there was a regular live action show, RoboCop: The Series, and RoboCop: Prime Directives, which was more of a mini-series, consisting of 4 tv movies.

I don't know how "Terminator" went to "Robocop" but I bought a 2-pack at Target that them both for dirt cheap last year.

Prime Directives was that eight-hour miniseries with RoboCable and possibly the best continuation of the series sans Verhoeven that could have been done. While it went off the rails when it came to those Matrix-style cyberdorks, in spirit it was better than a lot of the stuff that came out.

That said, outside of Summer Glau being nude, I don't think this will last.
