I've seen the trailer, and it looks like it could be, well not a good movie, but enjoyable.

Without actually looking at IMDB, I really hope they incorporate "Racer X" by Big Black into the soundtrack somehow.

When I found out it would have Emile Hirsch I was filled with hope. Then I saw the trailer only to learn it's a fuckin' acid trip but not as fun because it ruins childhood memories. So my mom dragged me along to see Prince Caspian with my little brother, and it was horrendous so I'd periodically leave and go watch bits and pieces of Speed Racer instead.

The half hour or so I saw was actually pretty fucking cool, and way better than any movie playing in the theaters lately. It was ridiculously cheesy, but in that fun Spiderman sort of way. Goodman as Pops made me lol :<
