Chicago "stuffed" pizza, Licor de Crema Catalana. No, seriously, I wish that the latter were capable of being purchased in the Western Hemisphere without paying $35 shipping on a $14 bottle of AWESOME FUCKING DELICIOUS.

There was this Italian restaurant in my hometown that made these great sub sandwiches that they called "gondolas". I wish they had those out here.
Also, Chicago-style pizza. Just about every pizza place in CA makes New York-style pizza. It's ok, but I like my pizza to be a little thicker sometimes.

I make my pizzas in a pot becuase the pans I have aren't tall enough for it. I made one that was almost like a pizza cake. It was delicious and it slid whole out of the pot and was able to stand on its own, five and some aught inches tall.

See, that post is funny because it's followed by a signature that is ostensibly ironic about being unintelligible.
There's a White Castle a few miles from here, but I rarely go to that part of town so I never enjoy it.

I was going to ask you if that part of town was filled with minorities and that's what made you misirable about it. But I think, people of low income is a better term.

No, it's a commercial park area and nobody actually lives there except for the townie kids that never leave the Steak 'n Shake across the street from White Castle. I guess I should go there as that is where the local ALDI is located. But, truth be told, I haven't bought groceries in at least six weeks because I've been too lazy to cook. Hence, if I eat enough fast food, I eventually hate the experience of eating and I save money in the end.

I live in southern California. I can eat anything I want! MUHAHA!
I made a shrimp stock a couple days and don't know what to do with it.
Shrimp Soup With Cumin
1 to 1 1/4lbs shrimp, shells on
5 cups shrimp stock
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
4 clove garlic, peeled
4 thick slices french or italian bread
salt and fresh pepper to taste
minced fresh parsley for garnish
1. Peel shrimp and simmer shells in stock whilst preparing other ingredients
2. Place olive oil in large saucepan or casserole, turn heat to medium. Add garlic, cook until deep golden. Remove and set aside
3.turn heat to low, brown bread in oil. spread 1/2 clove of garlic on each. Mince remaining galric.
4. cut shrimp into 3-4 pieces each. strain stock into pan. Turn heat to medium, bring to gental boil. Add shrimp, cumin, salt, pepper, and cook over low for 3-4 mins.
5. Place a piece of bread in each of four bowls then ladel a portion of soup. Sprinkle with minced garlic and garnish, serve.
Enjoy, my good man!

If you've never lived in one of the eleven or so states that have White Castle, then there are just certain things you'll never understand.
At around 2 AM this morning, I walked into one and chatted a bit with the only employee there. "You know," I told him, "I'm really not usually the type of person who would risk his life for White Castle. But tonight, I just kinda felt like it." I'm sure he probably gets that a lot.

The fact they can be less than fifty cents apiece sometimes, so you can just lay into a bag of six or so. They're delicious. The pickles and onions meld with the bread and make it a little mushy on the inside, but that only enhances the flavor.

From my understanding of the matter Hardees was bought by Carls Jr. and most of the stores that are still around today are either rebranded Carls Jr. stores or carry Carls Jr. menus. So basically Hardees is the west coast Carls Kr.

http://www.iobis.org/images_new/ILAlligatorGar.jpg
http://dialog.ua.edu/dialog20061030/images/DanWithGar.jpg
Dikipedia sez:
Gar bodies are elongated, heavily armored with ganoid scales, and fronted by similarly elongated jaws (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaw) filled with long sharp teeth. Tails are heterocercal (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Heterocercal&action=edit), and the dorsal fins (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorsal_fin) are close to the tail. They have vascularised swim bladders (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_bladder) that can function as lungs, and most gar surface periodically to take a gulp of air, doing so more frequently in stagnant (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stagnant_%28water%29) or warm water when the concentration of oxygen in the water is low. As a result, they are extremely hardy and able to tolerate conditions that would kill most other fish.

Being somewhat of a sweet tea connoisseur, I frequently get frustrated that Maryland isn't furnished with my drink of choice. A lot of places have raspberry tea or something with flavoring, and I absolutely hate it. Along the same lines, every single store has Arizona sweet tea, which is terrible, and only few places have Tradewinds or Gold Coast.
Other than that, the day I realized one of my dreams to see the Pacific Ocean (it looks higher!), I ate at an In-N-Out Burger. I didn't really think much of it then, but Goddamn if I don't miss it.
