People have been up in arms about this for some reason. Fox News said it was Nickelodeon's responsibility to the country and its children to take the show off of the air.

What? People are fucking at 16? Outrage! I miss the good old days, when Jesus was president, and people didn't even know what sex was until they were like 43.

I was reading some of the headlines on some magazine and it said that her mom sold the story for a million bucks.

I must ask why is this news? I mean WTF? Its not as if she can sing or anything. There wasnt a international controvosy when Keisha Castle-Hughes was up the duff at 17. Anthing to do with Britney or her family isnt news

I totally remember that story! Keisha Castle-Hughes, who is playing the Virgin Mary in an upcoming something or other is pregnant! Leader of the National Party, Don Brash, questions the morals of the country's youth. Parliament in uproar. & then I think there was some riots... Oh, no! I remember, her Nanna said she was very disappointed.

Actually, I believe that baby is nine months old.

But that reminds me. When this story first broke, I was watching Fox News, and all the pundits were up in hysterics. "Will teenage girls think it's okay to have babies now that Jamie-Lynn is having one? How do we explain this to our kids?"

Then I read an article in Us Weekly afterward in which the editor of CosmoGirl said that they were considering her for a cover, but now have backed off on it because their teenage girls didn't think Jamie-Lynn being pregnant was a good thing.

Here's a quote from my newspaper on this:

By making the decision to get pregnant at 16, Jamie Lynn Spears has doomed thousands of teenage girls and their children to lives of poverty and despair.

It's hilarious when there is no context.

I loathe them now. I miss the cartoons and shows of my youth, but the same can be said of every new generation.

They have a station that plays old Nickelodeon cartoons. It's just a matter of getting the right cable package.
