I know Arby's just loves its cowboy theme, but once you nail canoes to the wall, don't you think you've taken it a bit too far?

theres currently some sort of internal power struggle between RoG and Chojin over the Life of the Chatroom thread. Imagine it like the Terry Shiavo drama but with Serpentor and Cobra Commander fighting instead.

What I don't get is why these people come here and are completely persistant in not leaving for somewhere where they'd be more accepted (i.e. GameFAQs or some shit)

admittedly I should be asking myself that question because I was one of those faggots who didn't leave no matter what got thrown at him, but still

admittedly I should be asking myself that question because I was one of those faggots who didn't leave no matter what got thrown at him, but stillI can't say that I've ever actually read the GameFAQs forum, but I'm fairly sure that I-Mockery probably has a far more intelligent userbase. The bad thing about this forum is that almost every time someone genuinely entertaining and fun comes along it ends up being an old person who we thought left with a new screen name. We do rarely get cool people like J. T. Pednaud (i'm not going to even try spelling the whole name out, jerk) who I'm sure is going to disappoint me next week when one of our internet sleuths determines that he's actually Helm.

I realize that i might have the worst post count-to-how much people care about me posting ratio in i-mockery history so what i say probably matters to no one, but the problem isn't new people

there's always new people and they're almost always exactly the same

the problem is now all the people who AREN'T new are like exactly the same. it seems like people remember when they were new and no one liked them and now that they get it they don't wanna stop acting a certain way and risk getting kicked out of the cool kids club

i don't think it's a conscious thing but ida know

Man, you had imacs in elementary school? ;<

We had some IIes in the math department in high school, though they only used them to teach us LOGO or some bullshit where you used a tick to draw shapes with coordinates. I have no idea what we were supposed to learn from that.

However, my elementary school was more sophisticated and I think they had Mac Performas or some equivalent. My favorite game was My Own Stories, which was basically an electronic stickerbook. My second favorite game was the Mac version of Oregon Trail because it was very pretty :<

And then my elementary school burned down and all the pets died.

I once punched a kid in the jaw in kindergarten because I was playing 'Mother Goose and Grimm' on the Texas Instruments computer and he wanted me to share.

Also I was the only kid in kindergarten that could fill out a multiplication table on that computer, but I didn't really know how to multiply, I'd just memorized all the answers.

In my second grade class I was the first one to figure out that 28 times two is 56, about five minutes after the teacher asked.

Chojin

I eventually learned multiplication for real a bit before 2nd grade I think, when my family bought me 'Number Maze' for Mac and I needed to know that shit to get the horse to the carrot.

Chojin

I knew plenty of kids in high school that never used lowercase letters ;< I think they stop caring after the 5th grade ;<

I also once got in BIG TROUBLE in the 3rd grade because we were doing this shit where we'd write a cursive letter over and over on this weirdly-lined paper and I was getting bored so I just made one REALLY WIDE lowercase 's'

The teacher came by and was all 'WHAT IS THIS' and I said 'THE WORLD'S LARGEST "S"' and she grabbed my paper, crumpled it up, threw it away, and made me do it all over again.

I think 3rd grade was the last time I wrote in cursive.
