This week's event topic is: ALARM

Feel free to take any interpretation of this word as you please. This is art shit, so please try to keep it to artistic forms, though since there are no events like this for the music forum, I'm accepting music as well.

Artists of all levels are welcome in these events! Feel free to draw, paint, digitally create, photomanip (don't use copyrighted images please), or otherwise artistically create your interpretation of the topic!
Topics will typically start every Sunday night, as long as I am near a computer. There's no image hosting on the site, so please use something like Photobucket, or hopefully something with more longevity.

IF THERE IS NUDITY, ONLY POST THE LINK, AND TAG THE LINK AS NSFW.

Self-Deprecation:
I dislike the lack of effort I put into this, and there are so many points that I want to now go back and redo that it would basically be starting over. >:

Of course, doing anything at all is more effort than I have expended in far too long. :(

So yeah, now other people that may be hesitant over posting can feel secure that they are not the baseline. ;)

Of course, anyone that wants to put in less effort & talent than me would sure make me feel better, except they should be ashamed of themselves for letting down MLE.

I'm both asleep and awake. I cannot allow myself to relax, so a part of me is always watching my watch so I know when to wake, & the window, in case a million unfounded fears are waiting for me to drop my guard before they attack. When I rouse myself I'll be my own Alarm clock. My anxiety has me Alarmed.

I agree with tadao! I really liked the entry! I didn't expect to get more than one musical entry (mew asked if he could join in), but i'm glad I did! I think i'll continue to let musical entries even if the music forum starts this sort of stuff!

To be honest, we could start a contest/event thread in the music forum, but there would only be a handful of us that would even bother with it.

Couldn't we just get a free pass with these weekly contests since there are only, idk, 2 of us so far? This is a cool thread and I would like to participate with yall, even though it isn't illustrations or anything. If I could draw well, I'd do it, but I can't draw a square if my life depended on it :(

Yeah, but see nobody gives a dick about that thread. It is more less a, "Hey look what I did some time ago." I like the idea of having some random idea/topic/word put up every week and being able to use my imagination to write something to that. It is actually kind of fun.

All I'm saying MLE is, don't give Mew and I the boot on the weekly contests :(
