A stack of one quadrillion pennies would reach Saturn.

Wow.

I think if you are gong to bother to sue at all about something, you might as well sue for enough pennies to reach Saturn.

"Good luck with that" springs to mind.

"I understand the anger," Scott said. "I also understand it's a negotiating tactic: Aim high and negotiate down."

Fine I'll settle for a measly trillion.

Can these people really sue? Were they unaware a hurricane of biblical proportions was on its way? Did they not hear the Weather Channel quoting Revelations? Or read the headlines on the newspapers saying that New Orleans was going to be wiped off the map? Or notice 80% of the city had packed up and hauled ass? How about the fact that your CITY IS UNDER SEA LEVEL!

Maybe its me. Maybe I'm nuts.

I think this might be one of those cases where the court system, when confronted by this angry person, whip the gavel at his head and tell him to learn to count and go back to being poor.

"There's no way on earth you can figure it out," he said. "The trauma these people have undergone is unlike anything that has occurred in the history of our country."

Katrina... Worse than the Civil War, eh?

I guess destruction of one US city is far worse than the destruction of the southern half of our nation.

Not to mention how we can't have slaves anymore.

El Blanco

Says you. The Mexican construction workers are the only decent customers I get in large groups.

doesnt this poor person know that the US is broke? like sometime next year we wont be able to pay our old people for not dying.

and i very much doubt that any slave owner ever had to go to sensitivity couseling because he refered to one of the mexican guys at his job as Speedy Gonzales.

i read it as "A stack of one quadrillion penises would reach Saturn."

If it were mine, it would only take like a billion.

does this measurement include balls?

cause that would be cheating.

i read it as "A stack of one quadrillion penises would reach Saturn."

Well, it would be kind of scary if people were sueing the US for a quadrillion penises...expensive too.

Doesn't include the balls, but it does include the entire length from the tip to the base in the abdomen. I think I read somewhere that it's like a mile long, and that's why ejaculate comes out at such a high speed.

It's like one of those particle accelerators they keep building under Switzerland.

And that's why they can't remain neutral.
